DESCRIPTION
Portrait of an adult male wolf prowling with a menacing demeanor. The wolf is a wonderful and extremely fascinating animal, though unfortunately demonized by many. In the forest, it finds its natural habitat, where it moves in packs. Humans often view it as a threat and use it in fairy tales to represent evil and dangerous creatures. None of this is true; the wolf is simply a highly evolved predator that, like all animals, strives to survive in the wild. The wolf depicted here was menacingly chasing another wolf from the same pack to reaffirm its dominant position. I took this photo in the Spormaggiore Nature Reserve in the province of Trento.
