DESCRIPTION
Sabbioneta in the province of Mantua is a surprising little town. It boasts historical sites and some truly unique views. The Galleria degli Antichi, 97 meters long, immediately caught my eye. An imposing yet elegant portico. A scene brought to life by the shadows of the arches, which add an extra layer of visual “embellishment” to this view. I waited for a person to pass by at just the right spot to convey a sense of scale and suggest the grandeur of the place.DATE AND LOCATION
