DESCRIPTION
The Cadini di Misurina (Ciadìs de Meśorìna in Ladin) captured at the end of a summer day. I took this photo at the end of a hike that circles the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo on a beautiful day in July 2012. This hike is not technically difficult, though completing the entire route can be tiring. However, the scenery along this route is breathtaking. Mountains, peaks, scree slopes, and small lakes—all set against a blue sky streaked with soft white clouds.
The Cadini di Misurina, formed by a plethora of boldly shaped rocky peaks, seem to conceal the entrance to an archaic world that appears to have come straight out of a story by Jules Verne.
