Manderiolo Peak taken from Pizzo di Levico summit in winter

1

DESCRIPTION

From the summit of Pizzo di Levico, also known as Cima Vezzena (1,908 m), you can enjoy an extraordinary 360° panorama. I climbed it on a clear and windy winter day in the last days of 2025. Among the various mountain ranges, lakes, and peaks that surround it, Cima Manderiolo or Monte Mandriolo (2,033 m) stands out on the right, not far away. The stratification of the rock that composes it is very evident, as is how it was subsequently tilted by the immense natural forces that shaped these reliefs millions of years ago. Now, a series of small ledges, visually highlighted by spontaneous vegetation, clearly show its genesis.
