The Arche de Port Blanc Roche Percée in Brittany
The Arche de Port Blanc Roche Percée in Brittany

DESCRIPTION
Bretany is a region in the northwest of France with unique characteristics. Its coastline alternates between large beaches and winding, jagged cliffs and headlands that plummet into the ocean. As if that were not enough, these wild coastlines are continually exposed to the proverbial tides that constantly change their appearance. Near Saint Pierre near Quiberon is one of the coast's most iconic sites: the Arche de Port Blanc also known as the "Roche Percée." The natural arch manifests itself in all its impressive form only at the height of low tide when the ocean recedes from its base. One is thus amazed by the colorful rocks marked by the elements that contrast with the sandy part below. A place of magnetic charm.
