I learned I was among the winners of the Wildlife-themed competition, where I received an Honorable Mention award.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY
On a hot summer day in Tyrol, Austria, a family of lynxes rests inside a hollow tree trunk. Two parents and three cubs huddle together as if they were one body. All felines, from our domestic cats to the much larger ones, sleep most of the time. This is especially true when temperatures are high. At a certain point, only one cub raises its head and begins to look around.
HONORABLE MENTION
I'm delighted to receive this recognition for a photograph that has garnered such acclaim in recent years among the most important international photography competitions. I'm honored to see my image alongside the other competition winners: juxtaposing it with other highly impactful images is always striking. This is the first time one of my images has been awarded in the Wildlife category in an international competition, and I'm very happy about that.
