The rolling Tuscan hills of the Volterra landscape are, by their very nature, a place full of charm. The earth takes on a thousand shades and vivid hues due to the natural oxides present in the soil. On a warm early summer evening, I captured this image at the Anello di San Martino, a work by Mauro Staccioli. An element in dialogue between sky and earth that finds extraordinary harmony in its setting. A sky filled with soft white clouds and the freshly harvested wheat offer two chromatic layers that harmonize in this Tuscan landscape.
