Welcome home where I patiently waited for you
Welcome home where I patiently waited for you

DESCRIPTION
What we mean when we use the word home is a concept that can vary greatly. For me, it identifies a place where I can be myself without having to pretend to be someone else or behave in a certain way to be accepted. My home is populated by a few other people who, despite everything, accept me for who I am without reservation. As an adult and especially as a parent, home has taken on other connotations that make it a mix of bricks and mortar and feelings. It is a place where I wait for and take care of the people who live with me, especially my children. It is a place where they can rest, recharge their batteries, and then set off again. But even when it is empty, home is always waiting for one of its members to return so that it can welcome them back.I took this picture in the village of Dozza in the province of Bologna, where many houses are decorated with impressive frescoes.
