Winter in the Rhemes Valley with a view of the mountain pastures and the Entrelor Pass

DESCRIPTION
Winter in the heart of the Alps offers enchanting scenery worthy of a fairy tale. In January 2016, I was taking pictures for the monthly magazine Bell'Italia for a winter feature that would be published the following month. I was in the Aosta Valley, more precisely in Val di Rhemes, a deep and narrow valley that is not very popular in the area. After several days of heavy snowfall, the landscape was white, the trees and peaks covered with fresh snow. The sky had cleared and the wind swept across the mountains with its icy breath. I climbed from the village of Rhemes Notre Dame to the 2,143 m of the Entrelor mountain pastures with snowshoes to enjoy this fantastic view of the mountain pastures and the Col dell'Entrelor (3,002 m) on the Alta Via n.2 of the Aosta Valley.
