DESCRIPTION
On the first day of winter, I went on a hike that takes you around Mount Panarotta, the mountain that rises next to Lake Levico. At a certain point along the route, the vegetation opens up to reveal a fascinating view of the Trentino mountains and the imposing Brenta Dolomites. The snow, present only on the highest peaks, and the fir trees still ablaze with autumn colors formed an interesting visual contrast. Below, the valley floor was dotted with houses surrounded by meadows still green and free of snow. The cold and windy day provided a clear sky, allowing me to enjoy this fascinating view.
